A sad Goodbye

This is a picture of my mother who was the inspiration behind the Memoir of a WHite House Dog. She is at the Roosevelt Memorial on Washington DC and told me the stories about Fala. Mom passed away on June 26, 2025. She had a full life and always was grateful for the New Deal which saved our family during the great depression. She lived until she was 991/2 and was a wealth of knowlege about life during the war. Im sure she is petting Fala right now.
