Anniversary of the Death of Franklin Roosevelt

On April 12, 1945, Franklin Roosevelt was sitting having his portrait painted and was writing a speech at the time of his death. He complained of pain in the back of his head. He collapsed and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He was soon pronounced dead. The President was listed as a casualty of World War II. Below is a picture of President Roosevelt in 1933, and the one on the right was taken in 1945.
