A Day that will live in Infamy. Today is Pearl Harbor Day. On December 7, 1941 my mom who is now 98 years old told me she was ironing a shirt when the news came over the radio. She proceeded to tell me that men joined the armed services without being drafted. Soon all the boys in their senior year were pulled out of high school and were drafted.
