Willie
Willie was the dog of General George Patton. General Patton was one of the most successful leaders during World War II. Willie was his dog who accompanied Patton throughout most of the war. Willie was shy compared to Patton. After the war, General Patton was in a car accident when he collided with another army vehicle. The General sustained a fractured neck and died 5 days after. In this picture Willie is lying next to General Patton’s belongings. Willie mourned the death of Patton until the day he died.
